Important Information for Drivers
Interlaken City is currently undertaking major reconstruction of the main access bridges between Interlaken and Unterseen. Work is expected to be complete in October 2013. During this time it will not be possible to cross the railways line at Interlaken West train station (walking, bus and taxis still possible).
Please use the alternative route below to reach Sunny Days.
From Bern:
Exit the highway at Interlaken West,
turn left at the roundabout toward Unterseen,
continue to the next roundabout and take the 1st. exit onto Seestrasse,
drive about 1.7 km,
turn right at Gurbenstrasse (Eiger Garage is on your left, after the cross walk right)
take the first left onto Helvetiastrasse.
Sunny Days is just down on the right.
From Brienz:
Continue along past Interlaken in the direction of Bern on the A8 Highway,
just out of the tunnel take the exit Interlaken West/Untersenn,
turn right,
continue to the next roundabout and take the 1st. exit onto Seestrasse,
drive about 1.7 km,
turn right at Gurbenstrasse (Eiger Garage is on your left, after the cross walk right)
take the first left onto Helvetiastrasse.
Sunny Days is just down on the right.

Winter prices
We have special winter prices from November 1st to the March 31st.
Take advantage of these great rates for a cheap skiing holiday or just a few days break to see our beautiful region in it`s full winter glory.
You will notice that the prices are excluding breakfast.
Breakfast can be ordered at the latest the day before for sFr. 7.90 per person per day.
The breakfast comprises of cereals, fruit juice, 2 croissants with jams and extra toast if required, served with a choice of coffee or tea.
You can decide if you want to take this reasonably priced breakfast or have the rooms at a bargain price without.
Sunny Days Bed and Breakfast General Terms and Conditions of Business
1. Validity
These General Terms and Conditions of Business govern the legal relationship between the guest and Sunny Days Bed and Breakfast, hereinafter referred to as “Sunny Days”.
2. Contract
This contract becomes effective upon receipt of an email confirmation from Sunny Days, accepting your written, telephoned, electronic or personal booking instructions.
3. Booking
A deposit is payable at the time of booking to hold the reservation.
Bed & Breakfast
The deposit is an amount equal to one night’s accommodation of the total invoice. The balance is payable by cash or credit card after arrival.
Holiday Flat
The deposit is 50% of the total invoice. The balance is payable 4 weeks prior to the arrival date. A bank transfer is possible, by arrangement.
4. Cancellation and changes to a reservation
Cancellations and changes are valid only upon receipt by Sunny Days of the guests’ written, telephoned or personal instructions. Any banking fees incurred for reimbursement of monies paid will be debited to the receiver.
The following costs apply:
- for changes to a reservation after receipt of the booking confirmation email from Sunny Days, a CHF30.-
fee will be charged.
- for cancellation of a booking, a fee of CHF40.- will be deducted from the deposit monies.
Bed & Breakfast
If a cancellation is confirmed a minimum of 14 days or 21 days for multiple room bookings prior to the intended arrival date, the remainder of the deposit monies less the deducted cancellation fee, will be transferred to the guest.
If a cancellation is confirmed outside the time frames specified above, the deposit monies will be reimbursed only if the booked accommodation can be alternatively rented out for the fully booked period.
In the case of a cancellation within 3 days of the intended arrival date, the guest is liable for all booked days that cannot otherwise be rented out. The guest may nominate a substitute to fill the booking.
Holiday Flat
Cancellations are not possible after receipt of the confirmation booking from Sunny Days. The guest will be issued with the total invoice. If Sunny Days can alternatively rent out the apartment for the fully booked period, the invoice payment will be reimbursed to the guest, less the deducted cancellation fee. If the apartment can only be partly rented, the guest is liable for the balance remaining from the original invoice.
Sunny Days recommends obtaining travel cancellation insurance to cover any associated risks.
5. Protection of Privacy
The guest consents to Sunny Days electronically recording and processing personal information in the proper conduct of booking, billing and provision of services. In the case of misuse, this consent can be revoked at any time in writing. Sunny Days is obliged to handle all information confidentially and not transmit details to any third party.
